My latest project is at http://balunsat.gq    This is an experiment in minimalist lightweight pages. Here I am attempting to make a lightweight version of my sites. What’s different about this site is that I’m experimenting with html 5, trying to keep it as mobile app friendly as possible while keeping up with the latest trends .

Band Members Craig Balunsat: singer/songwriter, currently a solo artist, but looking to put a band together in the future.. I am the song writer and I do all the vocals, instrumentation, keyboards, guitar, and home recordings in my basement.
Influences My musical influences are a little of everything. As a child I learned folk music from my mom, native music from my indiginous ancestors, country music from my friends and family, classical music from my music teachers, and I listened to rock, pop with my friends growing up. I picked up some jazz and big band from my piano teacher, and rock music playing guitar with friends. In truth, I have an appreciation for all kind of music.
Sounds Like Maryland East Coast Progressive Folk Rock….syke…there’s no such genre….but, if there was, it’s what I’d sound like. Well, I been told my voice sounds a little like Nick Drake. My musical sound is so unique, that I have no precident to compare it to. I guess you’ll need to listen find out. I use a lot of instrumentation, so expect this. I don’t follow any set pattern, so each song has a different sound and feel.

I’m experimenting with indieweb projects. The purpose of these sites is to experiment with indieweb projects which don’t seem to work too well on my other sites. These site is more indieweb friendly.
I’m starting to see myself as Modern day renaissance man.  Oh I keep busy and tend to get bored doing just one thing. It seems like I have so many skills it seems like I can do anything sometimes.  I know,  it’s not good to be a jack of all trades and master on none, but I’m not seeing that way. I love to keep busy and do what ever I feel like at the moment. I have 2 main sites: balunsat.org which is a more modern site I pay to maintain, and an old free site from the late 90’s with annoying ads at rootsweb. That is a more retro site.
